The conference is getting closer, and we are very much looking forward to welcoming you to Brno! EuroCarto 2026 will take place from 8–11 September, and we hope you are getting as excited as we are. To help you prepare for your visit, we have gathered some useful information below:
ABSTRACTS OF THE ICA: EUROCARTO 2026 VOLUME
Conference abstracts will be published in the form of ICA Abstracts, special Volume European Cartographic Conference – EuroCarto 2026. All authors have to submit a publishing agreement, confirm publishing terms & conditions, and cross-check the abstract metadata (author, e-mail addresses). The link to the web form is available at: https://webforms.copernicus.org/ICA-Abs/publishing_agreement/. The submission of the agreement is mandatory and must be granted before August 20. TALKS & LIGHTNING TALKS
Contributions will be presented in the form of TALKS and LIGHTNING TALKS based on reviewer recommendations. If you are not sure in which format you belong, check your EasyChair or the conference program. Presentations will run on designated PCs in lecture rooms; it is not possible to use your own notebook. Please upload your presentations by 7th September. In exceptional cases, uploading will also be possible at the Info point in the Library, at least one day before your presentation.

POSTERS
Authors are expected to present their posters during the scheduled poster session. Posters will be displayed in the library building during these sessions. Please hand in your poster at the Library Info point after registration. We will take care of its installation.

WORKSHOPS

REGISTRATION
Registration will open every day from 8.30–17.00 at the registration desk. From Wednesday 12.30, registration would be possible at the Info point in the Library.
As an ICA event, the conference follows the International Cartographic Association Code of Conduct, which promotes respectful communication and does not tolerate discrimination, harassment, intimidation, bullying, or other abusive behaviour.
