Conference abstracts will be published in the form of ICA Abstracts, special Volume European Cartographic Conference – EuroCarto 2026. All authors (including authors of lightning talks and posters) have to submit a publishing agreement, confirm publishing terms & conditions, and cross-check the abstract metadata (author, e-mail addresses). The submission of the agreement is mandatory and must be granted before August 20.

Instructions
Log in
In order to be able to submit the web form, it is necessary to have a registered Copernicus user account:
- If your email address is already registered at Copernicus and you don’t have an account number or password, please use the „Forgot your password“ function below the Log in button.
- Otherwise, please create a new account at: https://administrator.copernicus.org/createAccount/ (or by using the „Create account“ link below the Log in button).
- If you are not already logged in to your account, the web form URL redirects to the login page. Please log in with your Copernicus User ID/password. You will then be redirected to the publishing agreement form.
- The link to the Copernicus user account login is: https://administrator.copernicus.org/authentication.php
- We encourage the registration and use of ORCID. If authors have already registered with ORCID and would like their iD displayed alongside their name on the article website(s), their ORCID registration can be linked to the Copernicus user account in the personal data set. The email address in published paper(s) has to meet the/one of the email addresses saved in the personal data set in order to display the ID icon.
Filling out the form
- Please select the Volume „European Cartographic Conference – EuroCarto 2026“, enter the required metadata (including all co-authors), read and confirm the terms & conditions, and submit the form.
- Affiliation code is NOT meant in the sense of a registered multidigit “institutional code”, like e.g. the ROR ID, but as simple numerals (1, 2, 3, …) to map the affiliation(s) entered below the author names to the authors (analogical to the usage in the paper).
- ”First name(s)” will be abbreviated to initials in the articles’ citation information.
Schema:
