Getting to Brno is easier than it may look on the map. The city is well connected with both Prague and Vienna, so you can choose the route that best fits your flight, budget and travel style. Trains and coaches run regularly, and once you arrive, Brno’s trams, buses and trolleybuses will help you get around the city without much drama.

From Prague to Brno
Landing in Prague or spending a few days there before the conference? Getting to Brno is easy.
The most comfortable option is usually the train from Praha hlavní nádraží to Brno hlavní nádraží. Trains run regularly during the day and the journey usually takes around 2.5–3 hours, depending on the connection. You can travel with Czech Railways or RegioJet.
You can also take a coach from Prague to Brno. This may be useful if you are travelling directly from Václav Havel Airport Prague or if the bus connection works better with your arrival time. Prague Airport lists intercity coach connections operated by companies including RegioJet and FlixBus, and FlixBus also offers Prague Airport–Brno connections.

From Vienna to Brno
Vienna is another very convenient gateway to Brno — and often a great choice for international flights.
From Vienna city centre, you can travel to Brno by train or bus. Railjet trains connect Vienna, Brno and Prague, and Czech Railways describes the Prague–Brno–Vienna–Graz route as a regular direct railjet connection.
From Vienna Airport, direct coaches to Brno are often the simplest option. FlixBus lists direct Vienna Airport–Brno services, with the fastest journey taking about 1 hour 50 minutes according to its current route information.

Getting around Brno
Good news: Brno is compact, friendly and very tram-powered.
Public transport in Brno includes trams, buses and trolleybuses. For most visitors, it is the easiest way to move between hotels, conference venues and the city centre. You can use a contactless bank card in public transport by tapping it against the validator after boarding; Brno’s official city information describes this as the basic way to buy an hourly ticket. Mobile tickets are also available through DPMB options.

Parking in Brno
Unfortunately, it is not possible directly at the venue. To find other options, please check website parkovanivbrne.cz. The venue is located at the green zone (B) 1-13. Here it costs 40 CZK per hour anytime. In the blue zones (zone C), parking is free during the day and costs 30 CZK per hour at night (17:00 – 6:00).
