Day 2 highlights

EuroCarto 2026 starts in Brno!

From September 8–11, 2026, Brno becomes a meeting place for the European and international cartographic community. More than 260 participants will come together for four days of presentations, keynote lectures, workshops, poster sessions, discussions, and networking.

Under the motto “Let’s transform cartography together”, EuroCarto 2026 will provide a platform for researchers, professionals, and students to exchange ideas, share new developments, and discuss the future of cartography, geovisualization, and spatial technologies.

The conference begins on Tuesday, September 8, with pre-conference workshops, followed by the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception in the evening. The main scientific programme continues from Wednesday to Friday at Masaryk University.

Organized by the Czech Cartographic Society under the patronage of the International Cartographic Association, EuroCarto 2026 is now ready to welcome participants from across Europe and beyond.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Brno and to four inspiring days of cartography together!
